Handel: Movements from the Water Music Suites Our popular series of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos continues under the guidance of a leading expert on early music, Andrew Lawrence-King. High and low, loud and soft, a fanfare ringing out from city towers and court music on barges gliding along a river. A concert of thrilling contrasts. Members of the solo group in the Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 will also be heard individually in other works. In the Brandenburg they are united in Bach’s brilliant, virtuosic texture.
